For people on GLP-1 medication
The steady way through your GLP-1 journey.
Torto keeps the record: your medication and doses, what you ate, how you felt, the strength work that protects your muscle. It stays on your phone, and it walks into your next appointment with you.

No ads. No data sales. No drug-company money.
There is no server
Torto has no backend, no user account and no analytics. Your records are written to your own device and stay there.
Encrypted on the device
Health records are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored. The key lives in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.
Photos stay private
Progress photos are kept in private app storage and excluded from device backups. Nothing is uploaded and nothing trains a model.
You can delete all of it
One action clears your records and the photo files Torto owns. No copy is kept anywhere, because there is nowhere to keep one.
How it works
Four things, then it gets out of your way.
1
Tell it what you're on
Your medication, form, frequency and strength, drawn from official prescribing information. Torto records what your prescriber gave you. It never suggests a change.
2
Log the dose
Injection or tablet, on the date it happened. Each entry keeps a snapshot of the medication as it was, so your history stays accurate when your dose moves.
3
Note the days
Meals, how you felt, side effects, strength sessions, measurements, progress photos. As much or as little as you have the energy for.
4
Take it to your doctor
Torto builds a plain, chart-forward summary from your saved records and exports it as a PDF you can print, email or hand over. Nothing in it is invented.
What's inside
Everything the journey actually needs.
And nothing it doesn't. Torto records what you tell it. It doesn't guess, and it doesn't give medical advice.
Rx
Medication, recorded properly
Product, form, frequency and marketed strength from official prescribing information — not a free-text box you'll misremember later.
◐
Dose and titration history
Every dose date-scoped and confirmed once. Dose steps read as one continuous timeline, and a switch between drugs reads as a chapter, not a failure.
P
Protein first, calories last
Protein is the number that protects your muscle, so it's the number Torto shows biggest. You enter the nutrition yourself — Torto doesn't guess from a photo.
≡
Check-ins and side effects
Twenty seconds a day. Over a few weeks the pattern shows up on its own — which day the dip lands, and whether it's shifting.
↑
Strength you can actually start
Sessions for people who have never lifted, with a fifteen-minute version beside every one. Log sets and load with big, glanceable steppers.
◎
Body, beyond the scale
Measurements and progress photos, with a smoothed trendline that won't panic at a single reading. Photos stay in private app storage on your device.
⎙
Reports your doctor will read
Weight trend, side-effect timeline, adherence, protein average, training, and your own questions. A PDF built only from what you saved — plus a JSON export for your own backup.
◔
Reminders, only if you ask
An optional local reminder and calendar event for your next recorded dose date. Never added silently, never without permission.
A look inside
Calm, and large enough to read.

The doctor-visit report
Meet Torto
Slow is the strategy.
The tortoise wins the race, and this is a long one. Torto shows up small and quietly — a nod when you log something, a note when your own data says something worth knowing, a patient silence on the days you don't open the app at all.
He never scolds you. He never celebrates a number on the scale. He will, once, do a single push-up when you finish a strength session.
Never a broken streak
No shame framing
No diet-culture nonsense
Who Torto is for
This is for you if
✓You're on a GLP-1 and nobody has explained the day-to-day of it
✓You want to keep your muscle, not just watch the scale
✓You'd like to walk into your next appointment with a record
✓You've had enough of apps that shout at you
✓You want your health data to stay yours
This isn't for you if
—You want the app to tell you what dose to take
—You want a photo of dinner turned into calories automatically
—You want a coach, a community feed or a competition
—You need your data synced across several devices
Torto is a recording tool, not medical advice. It won't diagnose anything or suggest a dose change — that's your prescriber's job.

Questions people ask
Does Torto tell me what dose to take? +
No, and it never will. Torto records the prescription you were given and shows your history back to you. Any decision about your dose belongs to you and your prescriber.
Can it work out the calories in a photo of my dinner? +
No. Torto lets you take a photo of a meal and enter the nutrition yourself. Photo-to-calories guessing is unreliable, and on a medication where protein matters this much, a confident wrong number is worse than no number.
Where is my data stored? +
On your phone. Torto has no backend and no user account, so there is no server holding your records. Health records are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they're written to storage, and the key is held in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.
Are my progress photos safe? +
They're kept in private app storage on your device and excluded from Apple and Android device backups. They are never uploaded, never seen by us, and never used to train anything. You can delete them from within the app.
What happens if I lose my phone? +
Because nothing syncs to a server, your records live only on that device. That's the trade for having no backend. Export a JSON backup from the app if you want a copy you control.
Which medications does it support? +
The current GLP-1 and GIP/GLP-1 products, including weekly injections and the daily tablets. If yours isn't listed, email us and we'll look at adding it.
Is this medical advice? +
No. Torto is a recording tool. It doesn't diagnose, it doesn't advise, and it doesn't interpret your results. Everything it shows you is either something you logged or clearly labelled general information.
Can I take the record to my doctor? +
That's what it's for. The report is deliberately plain — black on white, chart-forward, labelled as patient self-report — so it reads as a record rather than a marketing document.
